Even babies need a massage!

Baby and infant massage has been practised for centuries mostly in Eastern countries having long been recognised as a core element of parenting. Over the last 40 years baby and infant massage has become an evidence based practice that is becoming more popular within the UK and Europe. The benefits to baby and parents are significant and long lasting and proven to increase the overall health and well-being of both baby and massage giver. The instructor has been trained by the International Association of Infant Massage - the only baby massage training that's NHS approved.

REVIEWS OF PREVIOUS CLASS

'Angela created a lovely welcoming environment to share her knowledge of baby massage. She put us all at ease & me and my baby really enjoyed the class'

' I recently completed the infant massage course with the therapy rooms. Angela created a comfortable environment for mums and babies and shared excellent massage techniques along with knowledge about the benefits of baby massage. The massage techniques really helped us relieve colic in our baby. Thank you for a fantastic course Angela '

One to One Baby Massage

If you would like to experience one to one baby massage sessions then this can occasionally be accommodated at The Therapy Rooms. Typically this would be on a Friday morning, however, home visits could be arranged in certain circumstances. Please get in touch for more info.

Massage for premature births

Occasionally little ones arrive early and spend precious weeks, sometimes months being cared for in a neo-natal unit until they are ready to come home.

Often these little babies can find a massage class too stimulating and they simply need to go at a slower pace, they have their own needs and may still require help to breath and feed.

I've undertaken specific training in order to help parents develop special baby massage techniques to help alleviate some of the issues experienced in babies  born early. Please contact for more info...
